Like everyone and anyone , i love my city , the best place of karachi , LA aka Liaquat a abad and famously known as Lalukhet holds so many stories of love and romance and heartbreak , prejudice and religious hatred that it could take an entire life time to tell them , maybe more. from the mula k choolay of B-Area to the famous Sindhi hotel , which had turned into a warzone in 1995 , but is a safe place to go now , the stories are endless , the urdu-sindhi riots , the house burning during Zia's regime , epic fail love stories , there are so many , this place has always been able to shine and sparkle at the end , doesnt matter how gloomy the situation might have been.

The burns road is another place that holds the entire world in it , thieves and robbers and the local neelam ghar where u could buy a rolex for rs 12 if you're lucky,you can find anything and everything here .

Burns road is the only place in the entire world where you could get a barbq for just rs 2 , i.e $0.033 , want to be a expert driver , try parallel parking at Karim centre , want excellent negotiation skill , try negotiating price with the local stalls and dont get ripped off at the end.

This city is my city , i dont care about it much , but when i leave it for another place , i remember it badly , this is the city where the tea is great , friends are different , where everything is cheap and everything is expensive at the same time , this is the city which has the heart of gold , this is the city that believes in turning enemies into friends , this is the city which has been burned , injured , crippled , murdered and then resurrected , only to follow the same cycle again. This is the city which smiles upon everyone that enters and farewells that leaves.

The clifton beach , makes you forget all the worries , make you feel alive , the sound of the ocean is maybe one of the best sound there is , if we listen close and with a serene heart , the ocean talks to us , relaxes us and vitalizes us.

I hope you all , get to spend some time in my city where the water is so salty that some times people go khaara chi.
